The aim of this study is to present the phenomenon academic peregrination as a specific topic Czech and foreign historiography, one that has been addressed since second half 19th century. historiography dealing with travelling for education from Lands in 16th 17th century presented chronologically ordered subchapters. part deals related phenomena (Grand Tours) denominationally defined mobility (peregrinations Brethren Jesuit schools). final offers brief look at investigations subject also other countries Central Europe (Hungary, Slovakia, Poland) compares their approaches results historiography.
